My Translation of Mourid Barghouti’s “You and I” Published in A New Book by Rizzoli

I’m truly honored to announce that my translation of Mourid Barghouti’s timeless poem “You and I” has been published in “Quand le monde dort” (Rizzoli, 2025), a powerful book by Francesca Albanese and Italian scholar and United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories

The book’s cover features artwork by the Palestinian artist Malak Mattar, whose work powerfully reflects memory, resilience, and the lived experience of Gaza.
Grateful to be part of a publication that brings together poetry, testimony, and art to affirm dignity, truth, and humanity in Palestine.
