I am thrilled to announce that my translation of “If I Had Two Hearts” Poem by Najdi Bedouin Poet Qays Ibn al-Mulawwah has been adapted into a new song!
As a translator, my goal has always been to convey the meaning and emotions of the original text in the best possible way. When I translated “If I Had Two Hearts”, I was captivated by the beautiful verses and the depth of emotions they conveyed. I wanted to do justice to the original text and bring it to a wider audience.
And now, I am proud to say that my translation has been adapted into a new song titled “If I Had Two Hearts” by British singer and musician Layla K. It is a surreal feeling to hear my words come to life in a new form. The song captures the essence of the original text and adds a new dimension to it.
I want to thank Layla K for working on this project and bringing my words to life. I also want to thank all of you who have supported me in my journey as a translator. Your encouragement and feedback have been invaluable.
This new milestone has inspired me to continue my work as a translator and explore new avenues for my creativity.
Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more updates! #ifihadtwohearts
